I wish this information was made more available on the www to foreigners.
Currently the information I see about Subanabhumi transport does not show any schedule times for any transport options!
Sorry I could not confirm if a reservation or booking is required or from which bus stand number because my skype-phone was breaking up.
Suvarnabhumi to Pattaya - Bus 389. - Paknam Web Thailand Forums - Sent Using Google Toolbar
Narisa Nitikarn
A direct bus service between Suvarnabhumi Airport and Pattaya has been opened by Transportation Co Ltd, bearing the number 999 and with a one-way ticket priced at 106 baht.
There is now a shuttle bus to take passengers from Pattaya to the new airport, and vice versa.
Transportation Co's Pramualsak Chandang said the company had obtained the concession from the Ministry of Transportation to operate three routes from the new airport to destinations in Thailand: apart from the Pattaya service there are buses traveling to Rong Kluea Market and to Nong Khai province.
The Pattaya bus terminus is located at the beginning of Soi Chaiyapruk 1, 100 meters away from Jomtien Beach. The officer in charge of the terminus is Chatchawan Charoenwattha.
First-class air-conditioned buses leave here three times per day for Suvarnabhumi Airport, departing at 9 a.m., 1 p.m . and 5 p.m., and departing from the airport for Pattaya at the same time.
Ticket price for a one-way trip is 106 baht per person, with the bus having a capacity of 40 passengers per trip. There are three service officers on board, namely the driver, conductor and hostess. Cold towels and soft drinks are provided, and there is an on-board restroom.
The bus travels a non-stop direct route on the motorway, and takes approximately two hours for the 127-kilometer trip.
Mrs Pinnat Charoenphol, assistant director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand Office Region 3, said the service is a good one and appropriately priced. She has, however, asked if service locations can be opened closer to town, as the terminus is quite a distance from the center. She has also queried if three buses per day with a capacity of 40 persons each will be enough for the high season, suggesting that extra buses may be necessary.

ViBrugerIKKE.dk
Farvel.

While the first SD cards were very similar between brands, each brand now offers cards in several different speeds for each capacity. To make things more confusing, SD card speeds are measured in two different ways: in kilobytes or megabytes per second (KB/s or MB/s) and in an “x” rating similar to that of CD-ROMS. The “x” is the minimum CD-ROM speed of 150KB/s, so here’s a table of equivalent speeds:
* 4x: 600 KB/s
* 16x: 2.4 MB/s
* 40x: 6.0 MB/s
* 66x: 10MB/s
* 133x: 20MB/s"

Understanding Remote Wake-up
The ability to remotely wake computers is an important development in computer management. This feature has evolved over the last few years from a simple remote power-on capability to a complex system interacting with a variety of device and OS power states.
In early implementations, the system could be started from a power off state by sending a 'Magic Packet*.' The Magic Packet contained the adapters MAC address repeated 16 times in the data field. The adapter, which was supplied with power from a standby power supply when the computer was turned off, would react to a 'Magic Packet' containing its own MAC address by toggling a signal connected to the computer power control circuitry. The power control circuitry, in response, would activate power to the computer resulting in the computer booting the OS. This allowed network administrators to perform off-hours maintenance at remote locations without sending a technician out.
This early implementation did not require an OS that was 'aware' of remote wake-up. However, it did require a computer that was equipped with a standby power supply and had the necessary circuitry to allow the remote power control. These computers were typically equipped with a feature named APM (Advanced Power Management). APM provided BIOS-based power control.
Newer computers feature ACPI (Advanced Configuration and Power Interface), which extends the APM concept to allow the OS to selectively control power by individual components. ACPI supports a variety of power states. Each state represents a different level of power, from fully powered up to completely powered down, with partial levels of power in each intermediate state. Here is a quick synopsis:
S0 - On and fully operational.
S1 - System is in low power mode (a.k.a. sleep mode). The CPU clock is stopped, but RAM is powered on and being refreshed.
S2 - Similar to S1, but power is removed from the CPU.
S3 - Suspend to RAM (a.k.a. standby mode). Basically, most components are shutdown except RAM.
S4 - Suspend to disk (a.k.a. hibernate mode). The memory contents are swapped to the disk drive, and then reloaded into RAM when the system is awakened.
S5 - Power off.

2. dag: Rør rundt i Hermann 2-3 gange dagligt.
3. dag: Gør som dag 2.
4. dag: Hermann er blevet sulten, giv ham 2dl. mel, 2,5 dl. sukker og 2,5 dl. mælk
5. dag: Rør rundt i Hermann 2-3 gange dagligt.
6. dag: Gør som dag 5.
7. dag: Gør som dag 5.
8. dag: Gør som dag 5.
9. dag: Hermann er sulten igen. Giv ham det samme som dag 4.
Del samtidig Hermann i 4 lige store portioner, og forær de 3 portioner væk
sammen med opskriften.
Hermann nr. 4 beholder du selv.
10. dag: Hermann er sulten, giv ham:
1 dl. olie
2,5 d. sukker
3,5 dl. mel
1 tsk. salt
2 tsk. bagepulver
2 spsk. kanel
3 æg
100 g hakket chokolade

- A very nice walkthru of radio components, possibly using alternative components.
I have always wanted to try this!
1. Get a pickle.
2. Jam electrical wires into opposite ends of said pickle.
3. Plug wires into AC socket.
Notice, 'Plug in...' comes LAST! Keep in mind, you are dealing with LIVE AC! Use common sense and all possible caution! I grabbed ahold of one of the wires while discussing it infront of a group of Physics Pholks at Rutgers a few years back and got a rude awakening! Made the demo much more interesting for the audience, but ruined my day (not to mention my shorts...). - Link "

Continuous Integration by Martin Fowler and Matthew Foemmel.
An important part of any software development process is getting reliable builds of the software. Despite it's importance, we are often surprised when this isn't done. MCE WebGuide™ was created for Microsoft® Windows® XP Media Center Edition users to provide remote Internet access to scheduling and the management of recorded programs on the Media Center Edition (MCE) PC. Just install WebGuide on your Media Center PC and access it from any machine that has a web browser.
MCE WebGuide features:
Allows you to schedule recordings of shows anytime and anywhere from a web browser.
Installs quickly and runs with the familiar easy-to-use MCE interface.
Accesses your own MCE PC which means live scheduling without delays.
Provides LAN-based access to recorded TV shows via networked PC's with playback in Windows Media Player.
An improved homepage that provides quick access to recent and upcoming recordings.
Improved guide listing that scrolls in-place, rather than scrolling the whole browser. This makes it very easy to get program info without having to scroll to the bottom of the page.
A much improved search interface. Similar to Media Center, you can now get your search results grouped by show rather than just sorted by date/time.
Ability to set manual recordings and adjust the settings of scheduled recordings.
PocketPC and Smartphone enabled EPG. "
"SpeedFan is a freeware program that monitors voltages, fan speeds and temperatures in computers with hardware monitor chips. SpeedFan can even access S.M.A.R.T. info for those hard disks that support this feature and show hard disk temperatures too, if supported. SpeedFan supports SCSI disks too. SpeedFan can even change the FSB on some hardware (but this should be considered a bonus feature). At the lowest level, SpeedFan is an hardware monitor software that can access digital temperature sensors, but its main feature is that it can change fan speeds (depending on the capabilities of your sensor chip and your hardware) according to the temperatures inside your pc, thus reducing noise. http://www.tranism.com/weblog/archives/2006/04/howls_papercraf.html
A scale model of Howl's Moving Castle from the Miyazaki masterpiece Howl's Moving Castle.
This papercraft project is daunting. The print outs are huge and it's over 20 pages of instructions. What makes it even more confusing than an IKEA diagram is that it's completely written in Japanese (but you can get an english translation).

Interesting! Comes with OpenOffice 2.0 which should allow direct use of standard MS Office documents and spreadsheets. The ingenious addition from Novell, apparently has been to add support for MS VBA scripting, which means compatibility also for doc and xls macros.
Sharing planned running tracks - and now covering all of Denmark.
Nice initiative.
Background info before DIY projects. Neat overview.
